These terms apply for both retail store and/or personal delivery services
Jlw Cargo Delivery is a 3rd party delivery service company. We offer customers a faster and more affordable delivery service for their appliances, furniture, electronics, and more purchases. Jlw Cargo Delivery also offers haulaway services for appliances and metals only.
Jlw Cargo Delivery is unable and will not perform any of the following services:
- Deliver items weighing over 300 lbs
- Items that are over sized and will not fit through doors or passageways will be left in an area designated by the customer.
- Removal of any doors, including building structures (doors), refrigerator doors or any other appliance (signed waiver required)
- Installing or uninstalling any items being delivered, (these deliveries are drop-offs only), (signed waiver required)
- Haulaway units must be cleaned out, disconnected and/or uninstalled prior to our arrival
What happens if my item does not fit into my home?
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that each item delivered will fit into their home. All customers must make appropriate measurements of all doorways, hallways, and other spaces in the delivery path to ensure the item(s) will fit before scheduling the delivery.
In the event the item does not fit, the driver (helper) can at the customer’s request leave the item outside the home or in an area designated by the customer, (garage, backyard, neighbors home, etc), or return the item to the original pickup location for an additional mileage / return fee.
